At Australian Environmental Education, we understand that sometimes plans change and you may need to cancel or reschedule your booking. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our clients and our business. Please review the following terms:
1. General Policy
- Cancellations must be made in writing via email to Australian Environmental Education.
- The date of the cancellation request will be considered the date the email is received by us.
2. Cancellation Fees
- Cancellations made more than 7 days before the scheduled event or session: No cancellation fee. Any payments made will be refunded in full or credited towards a future event/session.
- Cancellations made between 7 days and 48 hours before the scheduled event or session: A cancellation fee of 20% of the total booking fee will apply. The remaining balance will be refunded or credited towards a future event/session.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled event or session: A cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking fee will apply. The remaining balance will be refunded or credited towards a future event/session.
- Cancellations made on the day of the scheduled event or session: A cancellation fee of 100% of the total booking fee will apply. No refunds or credits will be issued.
3. Rescheduling
- Rescheduling requests made more than 7 days before the scheduled event or session: No rescheduling fee. We will do our best to accommodate your new preferred date and time.
- Rescheduling requests made between 7 days and 48 hours before the scheduled event or session: A rescheduling fee of 10% of the total booking fee will apply. We will do our best to accommodate your new preferred date and time.
- Rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before the scheduled event or session: A rescheduling fee of 20% of the total booking fee will apply. A new booking will need to be made, and the original booking fee will not be refunded or credited.
- Rescheduling requests made on the day of the scheduled event or session: Treated as a cancellation. A new booking will need to be made, and the original booking fee will not be refunded or credited.
4. No Shows
- Failure to attend a scheduled event or session without prior notice will be treated as a cancellation made less than 48 hours before the event or session. No refunds or credits will be issued.
5. Exceptional Circumstances
- We understand that emergencies and exceptional circumstances do occur. Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your situation. We may offer a refund, credit, or reschedule at our discretion.
6. Refund Process
- Refunds will be processed within 14 days of the cancellation request being received and approved.
- Refunds will be made via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
