Natural environment means all living and non-living things occurring naturally, meaning not because of humans. The universe is natural, but often the term “natural environment” only means nature on Earth. Two aspects are usually included: Ecological units which are natural systems without much human interference.

An ecosystem (also called as environment) is a natural unit consisting of all plants, animals and micro-organisms (biotic factors) in an area functioning together with all of the non-living physical (abiotic) factors of the environment.

The environment is made up the biosphere which includes the interactions between the atmosphere, hydrosphere and lithosphere. It is often also divided into the micro environment and macro environment.
