Australian Animal Adaptations explores the diversity of animals that lives in your local area. Look for the clues that are left behind to discover more about these amazing animals. Students will look at local animals and find out what they can do to protect them.

Australian Animal Adaptations Program content:

In this program students will:

  • Have a presentation on different groups of Australian animals
  • Look at some of the clues that animals leave behind
  • Explore animal adaptations
  • Learn about different animal life cycles
  • Live invertebrates

Different animals eggs, features and furs featured in the Australian Animals Adventure programs
  • Classification: Living Things – Vertebrates and Invertebrates, Arthropods and Arachnids
  • Identification: Common groups of Invertebrates, Habitats and Comparing features
  • Hands on investigation: Field works practices, Applying geographical tools and Observation
  • Sustainability: Protecting habitats and Saving species
